These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of canine massage and herbal self-selection services by Paws & Herbs Natural Balance. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:
Canine Massage
- Eligibility for Treatment
- Prior to any canine massage session, a signed veterinary consent form is required. This ensures the dog’s suitability for treatment.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is physically and emotionally suitable for massage therapy.
- Disclosure of Health Conditions
- Any known injuries, medical conditions, or surgeries must be disclosed prior to the appointment.
- If undisclosed injuries or conditions are identified at the time of appointment or during the session, the therapist reserves the right to terminate the session without refund.
- Dangerous Dogs and Banned Breeds
- Dogs classified as dangerous or belonging to banned breeds must be disclosed during booking.
- The therapist reserves the right to refuse treatment if the dog presents a risk to safety. Owners may be required to provide additional safety measures, such as a muzzle.
- Payment Terms
- Payment is due in full at the time of the appointment. Accepted payment methods include cash, PayPal, card and bank transfer.
- No refunds will be issued for sessions terminated due to non-disclosure of injuries or safety concerns.
- Session Conduct
- Dogs must be clean and well-groomed prior to the session.
- Owners must remain present during the session unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Limitations of Liability
- Canine massage is not a substitute for veterinary care. The therapist does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat specific medical conditions.
- The owner assumes all responsibility for their dog’s behaviour during the session.
Herbal Self-Selection
- Veterinary Approval
- Prior to participation in herbal self-selection, the owner must provide a signed veterinary consent form confirming the dog, cat or horse's suitability for this practice.
- Owner Responsibility
- Owners are responsible for monitoring their pet's responses to offered herbs during the session.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or ongoing medical treatments prior to the session.
- Session Conduct
- The herbal self-selection process will be conducted in a calm and controlled environment to ensure the safety of the pet and the practitioner.
- Horses will have the session conducted at their own stable, the owner is responsible for the behaviour of the horse during the session
- Owners must ensure their dog is not aggressive or a danger to others. Dangerous dogs or banned breeds must be disclosed prior to booking.
